How to order a custom cake (and get exactly what you pictured)

Ordering a custom cake is easy when the baker has the right information from the start. This is the checklist we wish everyone sent in their first message.

The five things we need

  1. Date, and whether it's collection or delivery.
  2. Number of servings. Not sure? See our sizes and servings guide.
  3. Flavour and filling.
  4. Budget. It lets us suggest the best design for the money instead of guessing.
  5. Delivery town and address if we're delivering.

Nice to have

  • Reference photos, colours or the party theme.
  • The exact wording for any message on the cake, with correct spelling of names.
  • Allergies or dietary needs. Our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs and nuts, so we cannot promise allergen-free cakes. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm allergen policy]

What happens next

We reply with a design suggestion and a price. Once you confirm and pay the deposit (see our booking policies), your date is booked. You can also send the same details on WhatsApp: the form has a "Send on WhatsApp instead" option. We'll check in before the day to confirm the details.

The quickest way to start is the custom cake form; it asks for all five essentials. You can also message us on WhatsApp.
