Ordering a cake in Rongai
Rongai is one of the busiest commuter towns on Nairobi's edge, home to young families, students and professionals. The most common orders we see from areas like this are children's birthday cakes, milestone birthdays (21st, 30th, 40th), baby showers and graduation cakes for students finishing at nearby universities and colleges.

Keeping the cake in good shape
- Carry the box flat on the floor of the car or on a level seat, never on a lap or by the sides.
- Keep it out of direct sun; buttercream softens quickly on a hot dashboard.
- If the event is many hours away, refrigerate the cake and take it out about 30 minutes before serving.
- Name one person to receive the cake and check it on arrival.
